Protocol for Outdoor Sessions

In light of the Coronavirus pandemic and government guidance, we have introduced a number of measures to our outdoor events to help everyone attend safely.

  • Numbers will be limited to 6 households. Due to limited spaces please advise us in advance if you are unable to attend so we can offer your place to another family. You will not be able to bring extra people or families who are not registered in advance.

  • Do not attend if you or anyone in your household is showing signs of illness or self-isolating or you are in any of the at-risk groups.

Please bring: your own hand sanitizer and tissues and masks for adults.

When you arrive and during the session:

Please wash your hands at the outdoor sink.

Cover your face when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of any used tissues in the bin and wash your hands afterwards. (Various bins will be available on the site)

After washing your hands, please either air dry them or use your own paper towels which should be disposed of in the bins provided.

You will not be allowed in any of the indoor areas such as the kitchen.

Follow social distancing protocol and maintain 2 metres distance from other households.

Each family will be provided with their own activity pack, which will be disinfected before and after the session.

Do not share your activity pack with those outside of your household.

Toilets are available. Afterwards please disinfect any surfaces you have touched such as seat, taps and flush (disinfectant spray will be available).

Food will be provided. It will be prepared by a member of staff who has been trained in COVID-guidelines in respect of food safety.

Please do not help yourselves to food.

Please make sure you and your children wash your hands before and after eating.

Once you and your family have finished food please place your used plates in the plastic crate, avoid touching any other plates used by other families.

Do not share food with those outside of your household.

If anyone in your household is injured please notify a staff member who will provide you with a First Aid Kit. You will need to clean and administer any dressings and plasters to your own children or yourself.

Please tell us in advance if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you at the session.
