We won 4 Awards!

We were honoured to accept 4 awards for the HLP team at the LEAP CoCreate awards

2 for Unique Innovation 

2 for our Community Heroes 

HLP launched 2 projects back in September 2021 with the help of Amber and Turquoise CoCreate funding 

Our Amber project was a Healthy Home Cooking course open to families in the LEAP area - involving them in cooking, learning about nutrition, and eating with their children.

                                                      

Our Turquoise project supported us to set up St Stephens Pantry at St Stephens Children’s Centre- providing fresh fruit and veg and staples for families in the local area for a weekly price of £5. 

Both projects were co-produced with local parents and communities-meaning they were designed by parents for parents. The St Stephens pantry is now completely led by its parent volunteers. 

We plan to set up 2 more pantries with the CoCreate funding and work together with LEAP children’s centres and local funders to keep them sustainable

But for now it's just time to celebrate
