Cooks wanted for vegan Caribbean BBQ
We are looking for 2 Food Ambassadors or LEAP parents to provide a vegan Caribbean BBQ
Where? The LEAP Twinkle Twinkle carnival at Tulse Hill, Rear of Landells House, Tulse Hill, SW2 2ER
When? Saturday 20th November, 12-4pm, with food preparation in advance - with some the day before.
What? Healthy vegan Caribbean style BBQ for approximately 60 people, to include some Caribbean dishes to put on a BBQ, salads to accompany them and a sugar free Caribbean style soft drink.
Each cook to also provide a recipe for one of your dishes.
We can provide use of a kitchen for food preparation (the day before), volunteers (if required) and you will also be expected to attend the event to serve the food
You will need to:
- Have a Food Hygiene certificate
- Be a trained HLP Food Ambassador or a LEAP parent
Payment: £100 to each cook
Budget: £30 in total for food (we provide extra surplus veg on top of this).
