Celebrating a green milestone!

Hey there, friends! 🎉 We've got some exciting news to share from the heart of Healthy Living Platform. September 18th 2023 was a day to remember as we achieved something amazing.

Meet the star of the show, our newest addition - "Huey," the electric milkfloat! 🚀

So, what's the buzz about Huey, you ask? Well, he's not your average vehicle. Huey has a mission, and it's a fantastic one: distributing surplus food to Lambeth's incredible community groups while being a champion for sustainability. How, you might wonder? By reducing emissions and sticking to Lambeth's "20's plenty" speed limit. Go, Huey, go! 🌍

But that's not all that went down. Our Surplus Food Hub got a makeover thanks to the incredible talent of Artists Sie and Chock. Our Hub is now adorned with a mural that's bursting with life and colour. 🎨

Huey and the new mural aside, it was also the grand finale of our "Swim for Soap" campaign! 🏊‍♀️🧼

Huey, was filled to the brim with items lovingly donated and from the Swim for Soap campaign, racking up an astonishing £971 in cash donations! 🙌

🍏 With Huey in the game, we can reach even more amazing folks in our community, including local schools
