Food Ambassadors wanted for African Caribbean Carnival
We are looking for 2 x Food Ambassadors to provide food and a family cooking activity.
Where? The LEAP African Caribbean carnival at Myatt's field park
When? 12th October, 10am-1.30pm (and food preparation day before on 11th Oct)
What? Healthy vegetarian African Caribbean family friendly dishes - to feed 50 families.
Also… Prepare a fun activity for young children (under 4) to get them interested in veg.
We can provide use of a kitchen for food preparation (the day before) and you will also be expected to attend the event.
You will need to:
- Have a Food Hygiene certificate
- Be a trained HLP Food Ambassador
Payment: £120 each
Budget: £30 in total for food (we provide extra surplus veg on top of this).
