Batch community cook-ups

Would you like to support your local community by coming to cook in our kitchen at Southwyck house community hall? You will get to cook a healthy vegetarian meal with other volunteers which will go out to people locally, share recipes at the same time and get to take some food home for yourself. Sessions will take place weekly however there is no obligation to book in every week. Please email info@healthylivingplatform.org if you would like to book a place on Tuesday 3rd August, 10am-1pm. Cultural cook-ups at the Woodfield Pavillion

Following the success of our first cooking session at the Woodfield Pavillion, we will be hosting free 'cultural cook-ups  for parents with children, aged 0-3 years every other Wednesday. Our next session is on Wednesday 4th August, 1-3pm. The sessions will be parent led (please get in contact with Zoe - zoe@healthylivingplatform.org if you have a dish you would like to cook!), you will get a chance to meet other parents and cook some new recipes together. Veg growing at Loughborough Park

Join us in Loughborough Park’s community garden every Monday 2.30-4.30pm and help us tend our beautiful new veg patch. Take away freshly picked veg, plants for your own gardens or windowsills, and positive vibes from getting involved. Everyone is welcome!     Do you want to learn how to grow your own food?   Get access to fresh organically grown fruit and veg?   Have fun, meet new people and get some exercise?   Tools and gardening gloves will be supplied. Join Beth at Brockwell Greenhouses for these interactive, enjoyable, outdoor sessions: read a story, hunt in the garden and take part in activities with your little ones.
