These delicious bread rolls are made with spelt flour, pumpkin seeds and soda water. They are very easy to make and taste absolutely delicious. These soda water bread rolls were made by our Tulse Hill group in December 2018 by our food worker Zoe, with help from several Incredible Edible LEAP members. The recipe was created by member Onley and they went down a storm at our December pampering session.


  • 500ml soda water
  • 500g spelt flour
  • 50g pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tsp salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/gas mark 6. Grease a 12-hole muffin or cupcake tin.
  2. Mix together the flour, salt and pumpkin seeds.
  3. Stir through the soda water until you have a sticky dough.
  4. Spoon into the prepared cupcake tin and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and firm when touched.
